Having too many times failed to start an exercise program, lose weight, or get more organized, I no longer pledge to do these things at the beginning of a new year. However, that won’t stop me from telling you what I intend to do with NAILS Magazine in the coming year, and perhaps making a few suggestions for you as well.
Next month NAILS celebrates its tenth year in publication. We’ve come a long way in that decade, and so have the needs of our readers. What we intend to do in 1993 is help technicians develop new skills, but also show them how to refine their current skills. For example, when it comes to technical skills, we’re not just going to show you how to apply product, we’re going to discuss the vexing problems in making that application perfect — things like how to fit and blend the tip, how to keep the product from yellowing, and how to make the set last longer.
