Luxury brand Rock & Republic and Essie Cosmetics have joined creative forces to push forward this season’s matte trend.
The companies worked together to come out with three limited-edition must-have items: Essie’s Clearly Matte finishing polish, Rock & Republic’s All About Matte skinny jean in Spill Black, and the Top Matte v-neck tee in Pretend Black.
The Clearly Matte finishing polish, used to take the shine off any nail color, comes in a unique bottle, co-branded with the Rock & Republic logo.
The collaboration was launched October 15, and for a limited time, Rock & Republic will gift the Clearly Matte finishing polish with the purchase of an item in the collection. Polish can also be bought at Rock & Republic retail locations and on its Web site.
To be prepared for the trend, nail techs can stock up on matte polish or matte finishing polish.
