Happy New Year everyone! I am so excited about the business success that comes with a new year. I have taken the time to sit down and write down my plans for 2011.
1. Plan an event or discount special for each month to draw in new clients and appreciate the current ones.
2. Attend as many continuing education events as possible with my schedule.
3. Network with local businesses to grow my business.
4. Update my business plan for the year.
These are just a few, but I hope this will allow me the chance to get a plan in place.
I also decided to partner with the newspaper again to place an ad. In one of my old issues of NAILS, I found an article that gave tips on marking to seniors, and I used a few of the tips when getting my ad together. I also am planning to attend the 4th Annual Nail Tech Networking Event in the Smokies. It looks like it is going to be a great event. I know a number of readers may be considering taking the "leap of faith" and opening a salon in 2011 — if you are please let us know. We would love to share in your excitement. I look forward to all the new and exciting things this year has to offer.
