If you think you have what it takes to be named Nail Professional of the Year, you’d better get your application ready to go. Sponsored by the Professional Beauty Association (PBA), the 2015 North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) is accepting applications through February 19. Open to certified nail technicians, the new Nail Professional of the Year category requires entrants to demonstrate excellence and artistry in a variety of areas, such as embellishments, nail art, and salon nails. Sponsors of this prestigious award include OPI, CND, and NAILS Magazine.
For the first time, applications will only be accepted online — entrants must submit their application, payment, and images through the official NAHA website. Entry in a range of categories is open to makeup artists, licensed cosmetologists, barbers, nail professionals, and cosmetology students attending school in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. PBA members receive a 50% discount on entry fees (PBA member: $45 for professionals and $35 for students; non-member: $90 for professionals and $70 for students).
