Thanks to the BCL|CND|Tippi Hedren Nail Scholarship program, 10 aspiring beauty industry professionals received financial awards of up to $5,000 to cover tuition for nail tech programs. Honoring actress and humanitarian Tippi Hedren, the scholarship program is funded by CND and their partner donors. The administering body for the scholarships, Beauty Changes Lives (BCL), is a non-profit initiative of the American Association of Cosmetology Schools.

The 10 scholarship winners were selected in a formal application process that included submission of a digital video or essay and an inspiration board expressing their hopes and desires for careers in the professional nail care industry. “The passion of these individuals came across vividly in their inspiration boards, essays, and videos, which connected their passion for nail care with their love of family, nature, travel, and art,” says Lynelle Lynch, president of the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation.
