 Meyerovich (right) with Joe Galati

John Meyerovich was the co-founder of European Touch (along with Joe Galati). He founded Continuum Footspas in 2006 with Galati as well. Meyerovich was the sole inventor of the world's first whirlpool pedicure station, which was patented in 1985.  Over the years, Meyerovich had thirty-four patents spanning from that first filing to a patent granted in April of 2017. He was born in Odessa in 1942 and would graduate with a degree in Cryogenic Engineering from Odessa College. He was an extremely talented engineer, but he was also a brilliant businessman and soon proved it. He came to the United States in 1975, and soon after, Meyerovich opened two nail salons and the first nails-only school in Wisconsin. In 1985, he and Galati founded European Touch Companies. After years of innovations and success, they sold the businesses in 1998. Meyerovich retired, but he never lost touch with the industry he loved. In 2007, he came out of retirement and he and Galati introduced the first luxury pedicure spa, known as the Maestro. Meyerovich was a visionary and inventor, but above all else, he valued his family and friends. He thought everyone deserved dignity and respect, regardless of one’s station or success in life.  Meyerovich lost his battle with cancer at the age of 75. He is remembered as a great force within the nail industry.
