In May, Cuccio and Star Nail CEO Tony Cuccio visited India to provide education and promote his international beauty brand in this country where the nail industry is just beginning to develop. While there, Cuccio met with Shivani Sharma, the managing director of distributor Lure Nails, whom he has long admired for her efforts at cultivating young artists and giving them the opportunity to grow their careers. At a two-day nail art seminar in New Delhi, Cuccio gave out awards to recognize the hard work and dedication of these women. Nail artist Anubhooti Khanna of Raipur, Chhattisgarh, was honored with the Student of the Year Award for her innovative designs.
