Q: Once and for all: Should fingers and toes match, nail-polish-wise?

A: No — unless you're wearing classic red like Essie's Fifth Avenue or a deep wine like Chanel Vamp. Matching mint green manicure-plus-pedicure is just demented. As is matching pale pink, or purple, or French, or butter yellow or ...anything but red or deep wine. While we're on the subject, keep the manicure short. There's no escaping the McMansion quality inherent in long nails, unless you're L'Wren Scott.
