The expo offers more than 60 free educational seminars and five in-depth workshops on a variety of topics such as “The A to Z’s of Buying a Franchise,” “How to Start a Business in Los Angeles,” “Franchising Your Business,” “Choosing the Right Franchise,” and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet executives from more than 200 franchise brands. Beauty industry exhibitors include Moxie Blowdry & Beauty Bar, a full service salon founded in N.J. by hairstylists Jennifer and Jamie Dunn, who will be doing hair and makeup styling on a model; and Amazing Lash Studio, which specializes in eyelash extensions and has more than 158 locations across the country.
A number of program sponsors will be present to facilitate women and minority business ownership, such as PACE SBA Women’s Center and DiversityFran, which will host a diversity seminar, and IFA, which will host a women’s franchise ownership seminar. A seminar hosted by VetFran titled “Opportunities for Veterans in Franchising” will encourage military veterans’ involvement in franchising.
