Midwest techs need advanced nail education, but it doesn’t often come to that area. That’s why event coordinator Jill Wright has organized several companies for two days of hands-on workshops at the French Lick Resort in Indiana on April 26-27. There will be 12 different classes, including acrylic nails, gel enhancements, electric file pedicures, toenail reconstruction, modern French ombre nails, and a nail artist workshop.

Use the link below to learn about a free open house on Saturday evening, April 25, along with information on the classes being offered, plus registration and hotel links: www.eventbrite.com/e/nail-tech-event-spring-retreat-tickets-84349061313.

The Smokies Nail Show, being held July 10-13 in Gatlinburg, Tenn., will feature 30 optional hands-on workshops ranging in price from free to $150+. Learn more at www.nailtechevent.com/classes-workshops. “There is no other show in the entire U.S. that offers 30 nail tech hands-on workshops, so I’m extremely pleased with our participating nail companies for doing that,” says Wright.
