Plaintiff Cheryl Reader is suing Diamond Nails in Wood River, Ill. alleging that during a pedicure, a technician scraped the bottom of her foot producing an open wound and bleeding. The suit also says the salon failed to provide proper first aid and did not bandage the wound. The plaintiff is seeking more than $50,000 in damages.
