On Monday, January 29, the top names in nails went live together in support of the industry non-profit Beauty Changes Lives. Jan Arnold, co-founder of CND and Heather Reynosa, director of global education for OPI joined Beauty Changes Lives director of communications, Meghan Hayden for 30 minutes to share their passion for beauty professionals and urged their combined audience of over 2.5 million to get involved with the organization.
The nail brands cast aside competition in support of current and future nail professionals who could be impacted by the programs of Beauty Changes Lives. Beauty Changes Lives seeks to make careers in beauty and wellness a first-choice. Its support programs include scholarships, mentorship, advanced education, entrepreneurial grants, and industry awareness.
Jan and Heather had a special message for their audiences urging them to sign up for the upcoming “One Day. One Ticket.” fundraiser for the nonprofit taking place on March 21, 2024. On this day, all industry professionals are encouraged to donate the value of one service ticket from their day to the BCL mission.
“While one service ticket may not seem impactful on its own, with over 250,000 licensed nail professionals in the United States, a small donation from each would really add up!”
— Jan Arnold, Co-Founder of CND
The partnership between CND and OPI in support of Beauty Changes Lives and “One Day. One Ticket.” shows unity as the event serves to unite an often fragmented industry.
