Tam Nguyen of Advanced Beauty College and Johnny Ngo of Whale Spa collaborated to make sure health care workers received two of the most popular protective items found in salons: masks and gloves. Ngo rallied within the Orange County, Calif., community to gather these necessities under the operation titled "Nailing it For Health Care Workers." As of now, the operation has secured 280,000 gloves and 30,000 masks. “We gave away all our stock, so there’s nothing more we can give. But we wanted to do more," says Ngo. The operation is donating to as many Orange County hospitals as they can reach.

Those local to Orange County, Calif., with supplies to donate can drop them off at collection centers at Advance Beauty College’s locations in Garden Grove (10121 Westminster Ave.) and Laguna Hills (25332 McIntyre St.).
