Marie Claire asked Rescue Beauty Lounge’s founder Ji Baek about her standards on fashionable nails at the workplace. She says that if going with a bright color, be sure everything else with your wardrobe is kept classy, and to stay away from nail art. She also says to steer away from long, squared nails; your boss may wonder how you type all those reports. But the biggest peeve she says: chipped nails. Keep it together or take it off.

And having a few nail savers at hand couldn't hurt, such as Sally Hansen's Nailgrowth Miracle Color in Perfect Plum.
