Did you miss this finger-lickin’-good bit of nonsense? In May, KFC revealed that it has created two edible nail polishes designed to bring the flavors of its signature fried chicken to your fingertips. According to a May 4 story in Adweek, the polish flavors are sourced from natural ingredients and based on the brand’s two favorite recipes, Original and Hot & Spicy.

“The recipe for our edible nail polish is unique and was specifically designed to hold the flavor, but to also dry with a glossy coat similar to normal nail polish,” Ogilvy creative director John Koay told Adweek. “This campaign is designed to be intriguing and fun to increase excitement around the KFC brand in Hong Kong.” Hong Kong residents are being asked to choose the best flavor to go into mass production.
