L’Oreal’s U.S. division, L’Oreal USA, has acquired Columbia Beauty Supply. This transaction is another step in L’Oreal’s goal to pursue greater interests in the professional salon distribution process. Columbia Beauty Supply is a specialist supplier of products to hair salons in the southeastern area of the U.S. L’Oreal also purchased Beauty Alliance, Inc. (BAI), in 2007, and BAI will serve as manager of Columbia Beauty Supply.
