The January issue of InStyle inculdes a page on mixing up makeup (and polish) to freshen up thyour  beauty bag. It gives an example of mixing yellow polish (Jessica Going to Disneyland) and red polish (Essie Forever Young) to get a nice coral shade. Here's how they did it.

1. Add four to five drops of last summer's had-to-have canary yellow nail polish to your facorite red shade.

2. Cap the bottle and give it a shake. You'll end up with spring's perfect coral, which flatters most skin tones.

3. File nails into an almond shape no longer than 1/4 inch past the fingertip before sweeping on two coats of polish.
