In Cosmopolitan’s June issue of Beauty Book, adding an extra stripe to your summer French manicure (left) only adds oomph to your look. Cosmo uses rose gold for the base, white halfway up the tips, and Essie’s Absolutely Shore for the tip.

On the right, OPI’s Don’t Mess With OPI, and CND’s Anchor Blue, are used to make tribal-colored cheetah prints by simply putting dots of colorful polish over a shimmery base coat. Trace the spots loosely with a black nail pen … and then growl or purr depending on your level of fierceness.
