Elle votes on the runway's Most Likely to Succeed beauty application: navy nails. Nail tech Deborah Lippmann noted designer Chris Benz's indigo fall collection and used Lancome's Indigo Paris polish. BCBGMaxAzria's models wore a mix of CND purple, black, and aqua.

According to Elle, "Since darker hues show wear and tear more easily than lighter ones, Cherie Pollard, the lead manicurist at BCBGMaxAzria, recommends an extra layer of top coat to prevent chipping and promote shine."

Lippmann also changed models' nail shapes at Chris Benz, filing nails into an almond shape. "The blue makes it unique and modern, but changing the shape is an easy wasy to make your hands more glamourous," she tells the magazine.

Featured products are Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour in Blue Satin, OPI Matte Nail Lacquer in Russian Navy, Lancome Le Vernis Nail Colour in Indigo Paris, and Lippmann Collection Smooth Operator nail file.
