Last September, nail tech Vickie Priddy alerted NAILS to a devastating loss suffered by her friend and fellow nail tech Jackie Eades. Eades’ salon, the Fufu Beauty Shoppe in Mount Nebo, W. Va., was leveled by fire and the business was a total loss. A call went out to others in the industry to help replace tools and equipment, and many generously responded.
“No words can express my gratitude,” says Eades, who is working out of a temporary office trailer while the salon is being rebuilt. “I’m so grateful for everyone’s help.” Eades would like to thank everyone for their good wishes and care packages, including these companies and individuals: A.I.I., Bella Forma Nails, King, Kupa, Lucky Tiger, Young Nails, LCN’s Tina Gilbert, G. Elizondo, Maria Castrogiovanni, Debbie Doerrlamm, Lyn Timmer, Angela Wingerter, and Jill Wright.
Rebuilding is underway.
