The National Cosmetology Association (NCA) recently elected a new Board of Directors, including new board president Mark Goodman.
“I love how much NCA helps working cosmetologists in so many ways with providing education, representing members’ interests in local, state, and national legislative and regulatory issues, and now by creating SalonLife to help them improve their professional and personal well-being,” says Goodman. “In addition, our NCACares initiative provides an incredible opportunity for our members to work together to give back on a grassroots level through the Look Good, Feel Better, Cut it Out, and Disaster Relief Fund programs.”
The new board includes: vice president Grace Santiler Nowik (Hair Base Salon & Day Spa, Chicago), director Kris Kutcher (Kristopher’s Hair Studio, Quincy, Ill.), immediate past president Marlene Bridge (Elegant Distributing, Pittsburgh) president Mark Goodman (The Hair-Designers, Hilton Head, S.C.), director Sandi Holland (Head Liners, Elizabethtown, Ky.), secretary/treasurer Steve Ukes (Prometric, St. Paul, Minn.), director George Schmieder (Louis Dugal Color and Hair Salon, West Newton, Mass.), and director Beth Hickey (EOH Brands, Arlington, Texas).
