As of October 1 of this year, all licensees will be required to complete eight hours of continuing education in order to renew their licenses.
Cosmetologists may complete up to 24 CEUs at any time within the three-year licensing cycle.
CEUs are not required for licenses now being renewed, but will be required for all estheticians and nail technicians beginning October 1, 2005. Cosmetologists will need CEUs to renew in 2007.
