WWD announced today that the “Scandal” star has signed a deal with OPI to be the company’s creative ambassador. The actress will co-design a line with co-founder Suzi Weiss-Fischmann later this year. “This is going to be a lot of fun. I’m looking forward to testing out new colors on the red carpet. The fun, for me, is that nail lives in the crossover space between fashion and beauty. I love to play with nail color on the red carpet and explore new shades,” said Washington. Her current favorite OPI shades are Lincoln Park After Dark, Big Apple Red, and You Don’t Know Jacques. In addition, Washington also likes Gwen Stefani’s OPI collection. Judging by Washington’s social media account, it looks like the actress is already having fun sporting cool nail shades at exclusive events.
