OPI’s spring 2017 collection brings bright, vivid shades influenced by the exotic locale of Fiji. The collection introduces 12 new nail colors that are offered in OPI lacquer, Infinite Shine, and GelColor.
Polly Want a Lacquer, Do You Sea What I Sea?, and Getting Nadi On My Honeymoon are just a few of the playful colors that live up to the tradition of OPI pun-tastic names.
NAILS’ editors got a sneak peek at the color collection back in July. OPI Co-founder and Brand Ambassador, Suzi Weiss-Fischmann described the inspiration behind the collection.
“Visiting Fiji is on everyone’s wish list, thanks to the islands’ relaxed, friendly culture, fine cuisine, and colorful vistas – three things that inspired the twelve shades in this collection,” says Weiss-Fischmann. “Through the Fiji Collection, women around the globe can take a journey to this dream destination, wearing the colors of Fiji on fingers and toes this spring/summer season.”
The anniversary campaign includes a proposed French Manicure Day and submission of the original French Manicure Kit for consideration by the Smithsonian's Personal Care and Cosmetics Collection.
