Starting this week, industry professionals can visit orlybeauty.com and sign up for BeauticianList via the website’s BeauticianList button, which verifies their licenses immediately. Verified users can purchase ORLY’s professional-only products at discounted salon pricing instantly. BeauticianList’s platform eliminates the hassle for both brands and all licensed beauty professionals by verifying and claiming their individual licenses from the universal database. Once a license has been claimed, it cannot be reused by a different individual, thus eliminating the illegal “multiple use” of licenses.
Recognizing the need for seamless license verification, ORLY and BeauticianList collaborated on an API integration that allows brands to instantly download a Shopify Plug-In for their transactional sites. By integrating with the API plugin, brands can maintain product integrity by either selling exclusively to the beauty professional or by offering professional-only discounts.
For licensed professionals, being a member of BeauticianList offers a universal online profile to showcase their portfolios and communicate booking information to potential clients. Additionally, the platform serves as a one-stop destination for beauty enthusiasts to find salon services, giving them confidence about booking with a trusted beauty professional.
