Regis Schools and Empire Beauty Schools have merged to form Empire Education Group. Franklin K. Schoeneman, chairman and chief executive officer of Empire Education Group, said Regis will merge its 51 accredited cosmetology schools with Empire Beauty School’s 37 accredited schools. Empire Education Group will become the largest provider of cosmetology education in North America with approximately 22,000 students per year.
