For Glamour magazine's seventh annual "Fashion Gives Back" project, four designers were paired with nail techs at NCLA to make runway-inspired nail wraps.

A portion of the money consumers spend per nail kit goes to Girls Who Code, a nonprofit organization that helps young women pursue careers in technology and engineering.

Bibhu Mohapatra used ikat temple patterns he picked up from saris worn by women in his native India for his nail art collection. Nail wraps feature pinks, blues, yellows and blacks.

Peter Som was inspired by Moroccan textiles. His exotic florals feature blues, reds and blacks.
"The vibrant print provides a touch of escapism," Som says. "Even if you aren't going anywhere, it feels like you are."

L'Wren Scott created the "Bee Aware" print (yellow with accents of red and black) to draw attention to the declining bee population in Europe, which is a sign of environmental troubles.

Derek Lam, who spent 12 years as a designer at Michael Kors before branching out, created nails with an eighties street art inspiration. It's a graphic, layered design that almost looks like a retro tartan.
