According to Allure magazine, "new lacquers in colors such as mint and robin's-egg blue look tempting on short nails." Clients and nail techs have an array of new pastel colors to choose from.
Nail tech Sheril Baily tells the magazine, "Avoid pastels with lots of shimmer, which can look tacky." She adds that for sallow or fair skin, go with lavender or pink instead of yellow and green.
