The Makeup Show

The Makeup Show returns to Chicago November 16-17, bringing its intimate experience to the professional beauty community.
For nearly 20 years, The Makeup Show has been serving the industry with events dedicated to education, inspiration and community. As one of the largest pro-focused beauty event in the U.S., the show draws together celebrity, pro, union and amateur makeup artists, beauty brand executives, cosmetic buyers, beauty writers, professional models, students and industry leaders to develop skills and industry awareness, test and purchase products and build their personal and professional networks.
As one of the top U.S. cities for makeup artists, high-end salons and beauty schools, Chicago has long been a favorite destination for The Makeup Show. After collaborating with America's Beauty Show to celebrate its 100-year anniversary in 2023, The Makeup Show will be returning this November 16-17, on its own, with a full floor and a curated lineup of prestige and indie brands. Danessa Myricks Beauty, Alcone Company, ESUM, Ashunta Sheriff-Kendricks, The Makeup Altar, MYKITCO and dozens of others will be exhibiting products in makeup, skincare, haircare and tools at exclusive pro rates, as well as offering insight on product usage and pro membership opportunities.
In a beautiful new location, Rockwell on The River, The Makeup Show will celebrate artistry and creativity with figures who have and are continuing to shape the industry. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from and meet celebrity artists and beauty executives Daniel Martin, Ashunta Sheriff-Kendricks, Viktorija Bowers, Danessa Myricks, James Vincent, Roshar and more. To further elevate their careers and skills, artists will also have access to intimate classes and workshops in areas such as bridal, color theory, media strategy, brand partnership, kit building and more. All session will be taught by artists who have extensive experience both working and educating within the industry.
While The Makeup Show prioritizes serving the professional and artistic aspect of careers in makeup and beauty, years of shows in cities across America have demonstrated that even more essential to industry sucess is a connection to a healthy and thriving community. As thousands of professionals, amateurs, stendents and aspiring artists come together, shared passion for the art of beauty creates relationships and friendships that extend beyond any one event. The Makeup Show creates a home for these relationships and a home for the community to celcbrate connection, collaboration and creation with empathy and inclusivity.
