1. Stuck On You
"Predesigned nail stickers are easy, and there are so many patterns to choose from," says celebrity nail artist Jin Soon Choi.
To make sure yours go the distance, "first clean your nail bed with alcohol or non-acetone polish remover. The sticker will hold better," she explains.
2. Rock Star
Glitter polishes are a foolproof shortcut to glam nails. "Try several coats of my Happy Birthday shade, which is full of rainbow sparkles," advises celebrity manicurist Deborah Lippmann.
Take this luxe look to the next level by adding clear rhinestones: Place one in the center of each nail with an orange stick while the polish is still sticky, and then seal the look with a clear topcoat.
3. Call of the Wild
Whether you prefer leopard, zebra, or tiger, animal prints are versatile, according to Choi."They can be sophisticated or young and fresh, depending on the color combination," she notes. For a bold look, use neon and metallic hues instead of traditional colors.
4. Magic Trick
The hottest nail trend? Magnetic polishes, says nail artist Dawn Sterling, who recommends the shades by LCN. Simply paint a nail, then take one of the magnets that come with the product and hold it over the wet polish for ten seconds. "It creates an amazing starburst or diagonal design," she says.
