Elle catches up with Chanel’s official celebrity nail artist Tom Bachik about his background, secret weapon, quick fix tips, and nail kit necessities. To fix a bad polish application, Bachik offers this advice: “Dip the pad of your index finger in polish remover and gently rub the smudge in small circles to smooth it out. Finish with a new layer of top coat.” He lists CND’s Solar Oil as one of his must-haves and recommends applying it nightly to help keep nails and cuticles moisturized.
