Top Polish Shades for the Spring Season

Allure narrows down its picks for the top five shades to sport this spring. Green creams and green shimmers are at the top of the list, which work best on short, well groomed nails. Creamy peach is another winner, and is recommended by manicurist Tom Bachik and manicurist Deborah Lippman of Lippman Collection. “This color is perfect for sun-kissed skin,” says Bachik. Orange-red is “a feel-good, very sophisticated look,” Lippman tells the mag of the third pick. She recommends the shade on long, almond-shaped nails. Pearly-white shades, like Essie’s Kisses and Bisses, is another pick for lady-like nails, and look great with OPI’s Black Shatter layered on top. Last but least, mulberry is another standout color for spring, and adds a little edge to spring ensembles.
