Lucky magazine, in its January 2012 issue, suggested turning a favorite outfit into a manicure. Elizabeth Monson, a Lucky blogger, was inspired by Prabal Gurung's pop-art floral blouse.

She replicated the shirt's design on her nails using OPI polish in Alpine Snow, Color Club Art Club in Yellow, Color Club Art Club in Black, and a neon pink art pen.

To create this look, start by painting each nail with two coats of opaque white. Then with the pink pen, make two tiny flowers at the base of the nail. Next, paint a thing yellow stripe down the center of each nail between the two flowers.

Dot the yellow line twice in the middle with black polish. Line the tip of each nail with a thing stripe of black polish. Lastly, finish with a clear top coat for extra shine.
