Pure Diva: Who Won and Who’s Packing Up Their Brushes

Congratulations to Celina Rydén for winning the first challenge of season three! The judges loved each and every ambitious detail and thought her set was pure Gaga. Celina’s video not only showed us the cool process she used to make these nails, but gave us a clear understanding of where her inspiration hailed from. These nails had the judges singing Celina’s praises.

 

 

CND head judge Jan Arnold said, “Bubble technique is genius! Love the scale of the artistic elements.”

 

Dashing Diva guest judge Margaret Pak commented, “Designs were ambitious and reflected the diva chosen for inspiration.”

 

Season two winner Lavette Cephus remarked, “Very neat and clean. When I look at this set I can tell exactly who is wearing them. They definitely scream Lady Gaga.”

 

Other judges described this look as “awesome” and “reaching new heights.”

Celina will receive a complete set of Dashing Diva nail art supplies ($450 value).

 

The nail tech who is packing up her paintbrushes this week is … Szilvia Egerszegi. Szilvia, you are a master nail artist and competitor. We loved having you in this competition, in which you showed us your experience and dazzling skillset. We know we will be hearing about you in future nail art competitions.

 

This won’t be the last time you hear from Szilvia. She will move on to CND’s Last Chance Design Lab where she’ll have one last chance to stay in the competition. Check back next Friday to see who will go head-to-head with Szilvia in the first Last Chance battle.
