OPI’s Suzi Weiss-Fischmann gets polished by a Marinello student in the new color OPI Marinello On the G.L.O.W.
There’s a brand new shimmery red OPI polish out, but to get it you’ll have to visit a Marinello Schools of Beauty campus.
The new color, dubbed Marinello On the G.L.O.W. (Glistening Lights of Wonder), helps celebrate the 105th anniversary of Marinello, a beauty school with 43 campuses throughout the West Coast, and it marks the first time OPI has ever partnered with a beauty school on a polish color. I lucked out and got to be one of the first to try out On the G.L.O.W. at a launch event held Tuesday night at Marinello’s flagship campus in downtown Burbank, Calif.

The red really says “holiday” to me, so I think this month and next are the perfect time to find a Marinello campus near you and try it out. For $19.05, clients can visit a Marinello school and receive an On the G.L.O.W. manicure and a nail lacquer and matching lip gloss to take home. A GL.O.W. facial and body scrub special will also be available through the end of this month.
“This culminates a relationship we’ve had with OPI for six years,” said Dr. Nagui Elyas, Marinello president and COO, during the event. “We’re very proud to have our name on it.”
