Summer is just around the corner and toes are peeking out of sandals more and more everyday! An easy add on for pedis is glitter work — you can even add it to manicures using the same techniques. I promised a follow up video to Shellac and Fashion Fusion that would show you some fun ways to use the new glitter application technique that CND’s Kristina Estabrooks showcased in the class.
Using the technique you can do fun fades, easy solids, or even adapt it to French tips. My Facebook fans have had a sneak peek at the video and Sara Gills from the UK even improved on the French tip technique by testing and suggesting a super thin layer of clear over just the glitter, lock it into place for 10 seconds, then top coat the entire nail and cure. As always glitter is outside manufacturer recommendations so attempt at your own risk and have fun!
