NOSK Is New

by NAILS Magazine | November 10, 2011 | Bookmark +

I heard about a new product that was originally designed by ear, nose, and throat specialists to help asthma and allergy sufferers, but is being “repurposed” for nail salons. It’s called NOSK.

A tiny personal air filtration device, NOSK is supposed to be effective in reducing the inhalation of pollutants, allergens, dust, and other hazardous substance.  Twin, soft nasal filters gently slip into the nostrils to help block and stop the substances that irritate and aggravate. Virtually invisible to those around you, a thin translucent plastic strip holds NOSK securely in place. According to the  manufacturer, NOSK provides natural relief without the use of uncomfortable or bulky masks.

I doubt it’ll replace good ventilation, or even a mask, but I’ll let you be the judge. I have a few samples here in the office. E-mail me at judy.lessin@bobit.com if you’d like me to send you one.
