“Nail lengths are getting longer,” observed CND co-founder Jan Arnold during the company’s Shellac Couture event today on The Runway at America’s Beauty Show.
I caught up with Jan backstage after the show to find out more about this trend. “Based on almost every designer at Fashion Week [with very few exceptions], everyone did length. It gives the look a rock-and-roll edge.”
Jan, who herself sported long nails today (so long in fact that she sported a different color on the underside) said she thinks it makes fashion sense to wear long nails with big jewelry and giant cuffs.
