Vintage-humor brand Anne Taintor released 116-page engagement calendars and 12”x12” wall calendars for 2013. They feature wry text juxtaposed against color images of idealized women from the 1930s, ’40s, and ’50s. Hilarious quips will keep customers fresh and amused year round.


Mod 86 Designery specializes in handmade calendar planners. Seven unique planner layouts are available in three different sizes and 15 different cover designs, featuring images ranging from floral prints to trendy mustaches. Each planner comes with a pen holder, two-pocket folder, and binding strap. Customized planners are also sold.


Sarah Pinto designs trendy spiral-bound calendars that can easily fit inside a purse to help customers stay organized on the go. Featured above are the polka dot, zebra, and striped planners, each with 162 pages printed on recycled paper with soy-based inks. They contain three-year snapshot, monthly, and weekly views, in addition to sections for notes, special days, future planning, and contacts.


Smock’s letterpress calendars can easily hang on a wall or sit atop a desk. The simple, one-page layouts feature graphically appealing designs, some ornamented with foil.  They are hand-created using an old cast iron press and bamboo paper; all Smock goods are made with the planet in mind.


The multifunctional Smudge Ink wall calendars feature a metal clasp for easy hanging. Customers can also cut along the dotted line in the back of each month’s lovely image to transform it into a postcard. Scraps can be used as a gift tag or bookmark. Also available is the mini calendar, which features artful designs and comes in a plastic case that turns into a stand.


In its fifth year of business, Yoga Dogs has now released its 2013 calendar. They give customers a whole new — and literal — meaning to “downward facing dog,” hosting a year full of images showing popular dog breeds positioned in classic yoga postures (with the help of digital technology.) And for feline fans, there’s Yoga Cats too.
