Nails on Fall Runways

by Staff Writer | September 28, 2012

From nude polish to 3-D art, fall fashion runways prove that for nails, anything goes this season, according to Elle's September 2012 issue.

Dior's show featured elongated, skin-tone-matched nude nails. Similarly, Nina Ricci's runway showed off ladylike light lavender nails paired with a handful of diamond rings and bracelets.

Fashion brand 3.1 Phillip Lim had white, gray, and black polishes create a 3-D effect while jewelry designer Hannah Warner made spikey 3-D press-ons for Mugler's show.

Finally, Kate Spade featured peach dots on a jet-black base to give her fall collection a preppy punch.
