On Saturday June 2 before the Premiere Orlando Beauty Show, 300 nail techs gathered in a ballroom at the Rosen Centre Hotel, adjacent to the convention center, to participate in the NailTech Network Orlando Social, put on by BeautyTech.com and NAILS Magazine.
Attendees each received goodie bags of free nail supplies and amazing show specials from sponsors, and were treated to live demonstrations at booths hosted by manufacturers CND, Dashing Diva, Hand & Nail Harmony, IBD, EZ Flow, Kupa, Light Elegance, Orly, and ENP.
More than 50 people went home with raffle prizes totaling more than $6,000 from top manufacturers, and NAILS gave out five $100 cash prizes as well.
The response from nail techs about the new location at the Rosen Centre was overwhelmingly positive, with nail techs from across the country mingling and making connections while learning about new products. Be sure to watch for next year’s networking event. Special thanks to Action Bag Co. for sponsoring the goodie bags.
