Foils and Roses

by Staff Writer | September 1, 2010

Nails by Michelle Achhammer of Michelle’s Nail Design in Zirndorf, Germany.

1. Create a V-shaped French (make one side longer than the other) with black gel. Cut and apply purple foils on one side. Apply a thin layer of clear gel over the entire nail. Cure. File and clean the nail surface.

2. Use Stamp A16 from a MagnoNails stamping kit to add black leaves down the side. Use Stamp A31 to add ornamentation on top of the black gel. While the stamping polish is still wet on top of the black gel, press purple foil on top of the stamped design, then pull it off. (The foil should only stick to the stamped design.)

3. Add two purple fimo roses, one on top of the black gel and one toward the center of the leaves.

4. Apply a thin layer of clear gel over the entire nail.
