What's New on Retail Shelves

by NLS Staff | March 1, 2008

We asked NAILS readers what new retail products they’ve recently introduced. Far and away the most popular move was to add a new polish line from the top professional brands. Cuticle care products and lotions were also popular choices. Foot care follows in fourth place, then skin care, with Entity’s Nanovive Skin Revival System a particular favorite.

Here, in order of frequency, are the retail products salon owners have recently introduced:

1. polish

2. cuticle care

3. lotions

4. foot care (including antifungals)

5. skin care

6. nail treatments/hardeners

7. files/buffers

8. hair care

9. soap/body wash

10. makeup

11. scrubs

12. essential oils/aromatherapy

13. tanning products

14. purses

Also mentioned: jewelry, nail care kits, toe rings, sandals/flipflops, pedi slippers, and soy candles.
