It’s a sure bet that OPI Products will go all out for its annual BBSI distributor breakfast—and this year’s sixth annual event honoring distributors who have made outstanding sales during the year was no different.  The company paid homage to Sin City with a gambling theme complete with playing cards bearing CEO George Schaeffer’s likeness.  Schaeffer even paid tribute to one of Las Vegas’ finest—Liberace—as he stepped onstage in complete piano virtuoso costume flanked by two showgirls.  Attendees also had a chance to participate, as they gambled with OPI’s unique version of bingo (instead of numbers, playing sheets contained the named of distributors and well-known beauty industry figures).

This year, 23 distributors made the million and multimillion dollar marks, beating last year’s figure of 16.  Those distributors were presented with an original painting by Sasha Shatlan, the same artist who’s created the works that grace OPI’s headquarters.

During the breakfast, several announcements were made, including word of OPI’s next Tour of Success, which rewards distributors who have made their purchase goals for the year.  The next event will take place in 2007 in conjunction with the company’s 25th anniversary.
