The NAILS staff wanted so much to take this picture out on a sunny beach and get all dressed up in funny costumes to show you how much we love our jobs, how much we love living by the beach in Southern California, and (now this is their word not time) how COOL we are. Scrooge that I am, I put the kibosh on any field trips, but I cooperated with the color scheme and combed my hair for the photo. So here we are signing off to 1999 and the previous century, the old millennium (let’s hope we can also say goodbye to the phrase “the new millennium”), and welcoming…tomorrow. Let’s remember that with all the hubbub of this year’s New Year’s Eve, it’s still just simply tomorrow.

Whether you’re going to bring in the new year by crisscrossing time zones on the Concorde, or by just putting some jiffy Pop on the stove and throwing a video in, we want you to know that it doesn’t matter! We’re going to be here for you next month, next year, next century, and into the next millennium, just like we are today.

So here they are the people who make NAILS happen. Besides being a good-looking bunch and a lot of fun to work with, I guess I have to admit it: They are pretty cool.
