Nail technician Terry Sabaska-Vigil of Fashion Trends Inc. at Montego Bay in Westminster, Colo., is always on the lookout for new ways to make a pedicure more fun and relaxing for her clients. Her latest find to pamper patrons? Marbles. “I place two small bags of marbles in the footbath,” says Sabaska-Vigil. “Clients love Ribbing their feet over them while soaking or having one foot worked on.” To hold the marbles, she modified a net bag designed to protect fine washables; she cut the bag in two, filled each half with two to three dozen marbles, then sewed the bags up, leaving enough room so the marbles can move around to massage the foot. Sanitizing is very easy, she says. After the pedicure, she rinses the footbath and marble bags with very hot water. Next she fills the tub with a mixture of hot water and disinfectant, immersing the marble bags. Then she simply rinses and air-dries both the tub and the marbles
