The transition prompted by our purchase of NILS Magazine has been remarkably smooth internally and it has been the plan of both Peter Grimes and myself that every reader and account service be maintained. With many of the NAILS’ personnel joining us at Bobit Publishing, the magazine should continue to operate with full personalized service matching the editorial quality you have learned to expect.

During our 27 years of publishing business magazines we have developed a keen sensitivity to our valued readers and advertisers. We want this responsiveness to reflect in our new relationship.

We’re eager to meet you at the industry shows during the year to discuss your interests and the market as well as the magazine. In the meantime, please drop me a note telling me what you might like to see done, if anything, which is not being addressed as you feel it could or should be. You have my assurance that we will listen and make changes if it does not interfere with the established high standards of publishing that promote strong readership.

Secondly, we are vitally interested in assembling any and all research in the field. It is surprising that few demographics are now known; and we will invest in research once we know what has already been learned.

Finally, we plan to create an industry library of training manuals and reference books so that a centrally located source can be used to support the dissemination of knowledge; and we will share what is appropriate in the monthly pages of NAILS.

The single most important request that we have is to let us know how we can do something better for you. We are dedicated and totally committed to delivering a high-quality, graphically attractive, technically accurate magazine each and every month. With your help, NAILS will be better than ever; and that’s a promise.
