1994 Nail Competitors Ranking — Final Report

by NAILS staff
February 1, 1995
2 min to read

Nail competitors who continue to compete from show to show and year to year deserve special recognition. The NAILS Top Competitors Ranking was developed to honor those competitors. Beginning with the November 1992 NAILS Magazine Show, we’ve kept a tally of nail competition winners in all major U.S. nail competitions. Each win earns a competitor points on this ranking, and we’ve ranked the competitors by their total number of points.

We want to thank the main nail competitors who called and made sure we got their wins in the record. We learned that there were a few glitches in our point system, so we plan to score wins a little differently for the 1995 ranking. We will now include in the ranking only first, second, third, and fourth place (sometimes called honorable mention) wins. First will get six points, second five points, third four points, and fourth or honorable mention three points. Be sure to let us know the next time YOU place at a nail competition!
