Nature-led colors are key to the 2022 interior. From deep emeralds and sage to oceanic-inspired shades on the green/blue spectrum, mixing a variety of greens to create an organic story will be very popular. It is no secret nostalgia has a hold on us as bringing old styles back is nothing new, but 2022 could be the year the 1970s make a significant comeback in interiors. The old '70s style of wall-to-wall shag carpeting and obnoxious use of knick-knacks is not identically copied, but instead it’s adapted to a minimal Scandinavian style that will be particularly present in decor and furniture.
