Debuting in summer 2011, the TV reality show Nail Files centered around the hectic life of entrepreneur Katie Cazorla as she aspired to take her salon, The Painted Nail, to the next level. The show, which ran for two seasons on the TV Guide Network, was pitched as follows: “With the support of her fiancé, record producer Walter Afanasieff, Katie hosts gifting suites, attends A-list events, launches her Spring line of polishes, and handles her celebrity clients all while placating her trouble-making staff. Katie’s life may seem glamorous, but keeping all the balls in the air without stumbling seems to be a daily challenge.”
